Something else that is remarkable
about the Bible is the fact that it was
written by completely different authors.
Some were kings, some priests, some scientists
or poets, others were shepherds, fishers,
or tax collectors, and one was even a war hero.
These people al describe, completely independent
of each other, that at a certain moment
they had an encounter with God, who gave them
the assignment to write down exactly
what he told them.
God wanted them to record his words
for the rest of humanity.
The fascinating thing about these writings
is that they flawlessly reinforce each other,
even to the smallest detail. To think that most
of these authors never even met and lived
hundreds, if not thousands, of years apart!
The description of God's appearance,
for example, is identical in different writings.
