No softy Some people tend to think that God is only the God of lambs and butterflies. Although he made these adorable wonders, he is also the creator of other animals, like this magnificent crocodile! Personally I am very impressed by these creatures. They show that God is no softy. He is tender and kind, but he is also very powerful and tough. However, he never intended these animals to be so bloodthirsty as they are now. Through the fall of mankind and the entrance of evil in this world, great changes took place in animals and plants. That is the origin of all the violence in the world. But originally God never intended any death to be present in his world. Luckily the Bible promises us a new world, where there will be even more amazing animals than this crocodile. And they will not be bloodthirsty! They will show God's heart: power and tenderness mixed together. What a God we have! |
