It really amazes me how many hate-mails I receive
from Christians, after sending them a loving article
that simply warns the Church for subtle but very real
occult powers who try to enter the Body of Christ,
through movies and books.

The Bible is so clear that God hates it
when His people open themselves up
for witchcraft, sorcery and unclean spirits.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
These are two of the many foundational bibleverses
in which the Lord calls us to be holy:
"Thus you are to be holy to Me,
for I the LORD am holy;
and I have set you apart
from the peoples to be Mine."
(Leviticus 20:26)
"You cannot drink the cup of the Lord
and the cup of demons too;
you cannot have a part in both the Lord's table
and the table of demons."
(1 Corinthians 10:21)
Absorbing things from the occult realm, even in
'Christian' movies or books, defiles the Bride of Christ
in a tremendous way! Even though it comes
in a wonderful package, with a shining Christian label on it,
and the praise of big names in the 'Christian' industry...
Satan is not as foolish that he will come as he is.
He always masques himself in clothes that look OK.
Ask yourself this question: Isn't the call to be holy
a very logical command from our Father, who is holy and pure?
If we are His children, it should be normal for us to be holy as well.

So why is it that so many Christians
react with anger toward Gods call
to stop living in sin?
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Is it normal for a wife to be angry because her husband
calls her not to make love with the man nextdoors?
Is it logical for the Church to react angry
when the Spirit of God says: stop defiling yourselves
with the demonic world? Stop commiting spiritual adultery!
The Lord wants people who love Him...
and as a result PURIFY THEMSELVES from this world.
He wants a Bride who does not interact with demons.
Who does no eat and drink from sorcery and witchcraft.
Who does not enjoy the feast of the powers of this world.

He wants people with a pure heart and mind.
People who are truly SET APART for Him.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
But what is happening in large parts of the Church today,
is that (through movies like Narnia and Lord of the Rings)
the demonic world is litteraly MIXED with Jesus Christ.
These movies of course also contain many good messages
(otherwise nobody would watch them).
But besides the good stuff, that sometimes even
refers to the gospel, it also offers something else:
the occult world of witchcraft, sorcery and pagan idolatry.
The dark realm is presented as light.
Magic is mixed in with the Bible.
Demons act as friends of Jesus Christ.
In Narnia, for example, there is the lion Aslan,
who represents Jesus Christ.

But Aslan is a good friend of unclean spirits,
like Bacchus, Pan, nymphs, mereads,
satyrs, fauns, etc.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Aslan dances with these demonic beings, in the middle
of the night, in a magic dance which calls forth
occult powers from deep within the earth.
While they are dancing all kinds of weird creatures
start to appear. Many of them are spirits.
Most Christians see no problem in this, which deeply grieves
the Holy Spirit, who truly is a HOLY Spirit!
Please, be honest with yourself and with the Lord.
If you insist on seeing movies that are jam-packed
with the occult, can you ask yourself the question
what you will reply to the Lord, if His Word says:
"What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols?
For we are the temple of the living God.
As God has said: Therefore come out from them
and be separate, says the Lord.
Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.
I will be a Father to you,
and you will be my sons and daughters,
says the Lord Almighty."
(2 Corinthians 6:16-18)
"Each of you, get rid of the vile images
you have set your eyes on,
and do not defile yourselves
with the idols of Egypt.
I am the LORD your God."
(Ezekiel 20:7)
This call is just as relevant today as when it was
first uttered by the Spirit of God, through His prophets.

If we do not listen to God's call to holiness,
we will fall into great deception!
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
The Bible warns us not to deceive ourselves,
by ignoring God's Word:
"Let no one deceive you with empty words,
for because of such things God's wrath comes
on those who are disobedient."
(Ephesians 5:6)
"Therefore, get rid of all moral filth
and the evil that is so prevalent
and humbly accept the word planted in you,
which can save you.
Do not merely listen to the word,
and so deceive yourselves.
Do what it says."
(James 1:21, 22)
"Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked.
A man reaps what he sows.
The one who sows to please his sinful nature,
from that nature will reap destruction;
the one who sows to please the Spirit,
from the Spirit will reap eternal life."
(Galatians 6:8)
The danger is real, dear people of God.
It is not something we can think lightly of.
Magic and witchcraft are coming over this world
like a tidalwave. Movies, books, games, songs are rolling in
on our society like a tsunami, taking over
the minds and hearts of the people.
And most of the Church is applauding it, with a standing ovation.
They are happy! O, it is so nice, so well done,
so beautiful, such good lessons, praise God...
Thank you Harry for teaching our kids how to cast spells.
Thank you Aslan for telling our kids that there are
spirits in the woods, that want to be their friends.

It is time, dear people, to be honest with the Lord.
He is light and in Him there is no darkness.
|
|

No darkness...
What does that mean for the movies you watch,
books you read and music you listen to?
No darkness?
My wife and I, along with the people in our church,
have decided to obey the call of the Spirit of truth.
We chose not to watch anything anymore
that has any kind of link with the occult,
sexual immorality, violence or other sin.
This means we can almost watch nothing anymore!
It also means that our minds are becoming pure and innocent,
like the Lord meant us to be in the first place.
Movies like Shrek, that are so funny but also burst
with magic and other impure influences, have been thrown away,
along with most of our movies. A friend of ours dumped
hundreds of movies, with a total value of 10.000 euro's!
Another friend threw away his entire collection of movies
and books about war. He doesn't want to be entertained
by violence anymore.
He is called to live in the PEACE of God!
No more violence, no more shocking language,
no more filthy jokes, no more playing around
with the lusts of this world...

Most movies I used to watch,
even as a Christian minister,
are now in the dustbin.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
The Lord is calling us:
"Let us purify ourselves from everything
that contaminates body and spirit,
perfecting holiness out of reverence for God."
(2 Corinthians 7:1)
And He assures us:
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just
and will forgive us our sins
and purify us from all unrighteousness."
(1 John 1:9)
Please be honest with the Lord.
He is your Husband, says the Bible.
That's why enjoying the pleasures of this world
is plain ADULTERY in the eyes of Jesus Christ.
The Word says it so clearly:
"You adulterous people, don't you know that friendship
with the world is hatred toward God?
Anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world
becomes an enemy of God. (...)
Wash your hands, you sinners,
and purify your hearts, you double-minded."
(James 4:4-8)
The Lord does call for a purity in His Kingdom.
After all He is LIGHT... remember?
Why would we then enjoy stuff from the sinfull world?
Why would we want to hurt our Bridegroom?
Why would we be hypocrits that watch filthy movies
one moment and pray to a HOLY God the other?
I believe there will be a SEPARATION in the Church in the endtimes
of those who proclaim the name of the Lord but live in sin,
and those who yield to His call to purify themselves.
Darkness wil intensify, but the light will shine
more brightly as well. The choice is ours, what we will be.

Darker and darker or more and more light...

The Lord will separate us.
Those who live according to His love and truth,
in HIS LIGHT and those who speak words of light and love,
but live in sin...
Be honest people. Let's choose LIGHT!!!!
